Welcoming Niclas Magnusson

A STRONG BACKGROUND IN INDUSTRIAL SOLUTIONS

Niclas has spent a significant part of his career in the access solutions industry, building strong relationships and gaining deep industry insights. Over the years, he has collaborated with Industrilas on multiple occasions.

After working with a distributor and restarting operations in Scandinavia, Niclas transitioned to Bufab, a C-parts logistics solution provider, where he worked as a Global Account Manager. There, he managed major global accounts, ensuring that sister companies had access to new business opportunities while also supporting contract negotiations, global pricing strategies, and performance follow-ups.

"At Industrilas, I will try to put all of these experiences together," Niclas says.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS AND A STRONG COMPANY CULTURE

After just a few days at Industrilas, Niclas shares that he wasn’t necessarily surprised - but rather reassured that his positive impression of the company was correct.

"I have always had a good feeling about Industrilas. The friendly atmosphere, entrepreneurial mindset, and large potential were the main driving factors for me. Everyone is welcoming and open - the ‘small company’ feeling is still there, even though Industrilas has grown significantly. That is something to be proud of!"

BEYOND THE OFFICE - A PASSION FOR ADVENTURE

Outside of work, Niclas enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and being outdoors. Living in an old house in Huskvarna with his wife, two children, and their dog, he often finds himself up north in Sweden, embracing winter sports and nature.

He also has a passion for boats and classic cars, especially air-cooled boxer engine cars. Right now, he’s restoring a VW bus into a camper, transforming it into the ultimate adventure vehicle for summer road trips.

When asked what advice he would give his younger self, Niclas keeps it simple:

"Talk and listen! Talk to anyone - at the train station, in a bar, in a store. It will be memorable and give you opportunities you never expected."
