Unique selling point
In addition to manufacturing sturdy and durable cabinets, a key factor to Ydre Skåp’s success is their customisation. Should a customer want a cabinet with integrated heating, cooling or specialized furnishings like toolboxes and shelves, Ydre Skåp has got that covered.
“Some vehicles require specific custom made solutions so they can be used to their full potential. And we are happy to cater to our customers’ needs. Our people has a great deal of experience and they are extremely skilful in what they do”, Rune Granath, Head of Production at Ydre Skåp says.

Ydre Skåp and Industrilas go way back and the partnership is running smoothly. Our access solutions are an added touch that increase the quality of the hardtops and cabinets that Ydre Skåp produces.
“The cooperation with Industrilas has been on-going for a long time now. It works very well with timely deliveries, and it is always nice to work with local business close by. We purchase the Vector T3 Handle – with and without central locking. The process to assemble the handle is really efficient. We make a single cut-out that will fit both a regular key-locking handle and the central locking version, and then we can decide at a later stage which handle is needed for that particular application”, Rune says.
Returning customers
For any company, a measurable aspect of success is returning customers and Ydre Skåp is no exception.
“It is always rewarding when the customers return and want more vehicles of the same kind. That tells us that we have created a great solution. Our customers come back – often”, Rune finishes off with a smile.
