NEW FACTORY
EXPANSIONS AND CONTINUED GROWTH
Industrilas and our customers have grown steadily together over a long period of time. We are very positive about the future and want to continue growing with existing and new customers. That is why we have expanded our production capacity in Mexico and built a brand new factory in Nässjö, Sweden, where our headquarters is located. All in all, we have grown our production space by 40 % in just two years. And we are not done. The new factory in Nässjö can become twice as large when fully developed.

We invest in the locations where our competence and know-how are high. That is why it was only natural that we built our brand new factory in Nässjö, Sweden. The factory brings a lot of benefits for us and our customers. For example, we will be able to have even more concurrent customer projects and be able to adapt our production flows totally according to developed products. This will allow our customers to evolve together with us, long term.
EFFICIENT PRODUCTION FLOWS ENHANCE DELIVERY DEPENDENCY
Building a factory from scratch brings possibilities you will never have if you move into an existing facility and try to get your business to work there. In our case, we have been able to adapt every aspect of the new factory to suit our needs and production flows. One example is that we have placed the loading docks so the delivered material can go straight into the production line, instead of first being transported to a storage area. This means smarter production flows and smarter use of the factory’s space.
THE NEW FACTORY IN BRIEF
- Built from scratch with our own design which means that our working environment is created just for us and our needs
- Massive space with 17,000 sqm – with the possibility to expand with an additional 18,000 sqm
- Sustainability has been a central part of the design and construction
- Our automation department has a lot of space to grow and we are increasing the use of robots and robotic processes
OUR PRODUCTION ASSISTANTS – THE ROBOTS
The use of robotic process automation has increased a lot over the last ten years and now, with more space around our machines, we can increase the use of robots even further. This will secure the steady flow of parts in selected sections of our production.

STATE OF THE ART FACILITY WITH A GREAT WORKING ENVIRONMENT
One of the big benefits of building a factory from scratch is that we can provide the best possible working environment for the employees. In our new factory in Nässjö, Sweden, geothermal heating keeps the temperature at an even level throughout the facility. The specially designed ventilation system secures fresh air to all departments, while sound absorbers reduce strained ears and the need to raise your voice when talking to a coworker. And finally, the ability to totally shape the space according to our production flows makes sure the workload is kept low.
The Turning Department has already moved into the factory and they are very positive to their new surroundings.
IN-HOUSE HIGH-TECH TOOL MANUFACTURING
The Tool Department is a high-tech and vital part of our manufacturing. Here, we make everything from plastic moulds, zinc die casting tools and progressive stamping tools to robot grippers, measuring fixtures, manufacturing fixtures and prototypes. Today, we have approximately 1,700 tools in production and 20,000 active products and components.
The Tool Department in the new factory is a lot larger than before, and there is plenty of space to grow even further, with new machines and equipment.

MORE SPACE FOR ASSEMBLY, POWDER COATING AND WAREHOUSE
Extra space is not only reserved for the departments in the new factory. Assembly, Powder Coating and Warehouse will stay in the current factory and take over the area from the departments that are moving. They can now plan their processes in a new way, which will create more efficient flows and let them maintain high lead times. And when the working conditions are good and you have great coworkers, it is fun to go to work. Every day.
