When Industrilas started looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join the growing team at the Swedish headquarters in Nässjö, the search did not take long. A swift internal recruitment process resulted in Sebastian Bergsten getting the job. With almost five years working as a Production Manager for the Assembly Department, Sebastian is no newbie to the industry.
“These years have been amazing! From all the great people I have met and worked with, to being a part of the production chain, and seeing the results of what Industrilas produce first hand. Now, I am going to see the business from a supply chain angle, and it is exciting to get the full picture”, Sebastian says.
The role as Supply Chain Manager entails developing, optimizing and coordinating production planning and operative purchasing. Sebastian has a bachelor’s degree of engineering in logistics and management at Jönköping university, and has a lot of experience from both the production chain and managing his team at the Assembly department. So, when this opportunity presented itself, he knew he had to go for it.
“It feels like the circle is complete in a way, and it feels natural to take this next step and continue with Industrilas. I have seen and continue to see so many opportunities here. Since I know the products and processes, I have a better understanding of what needs to be done and can deliver the right information. And this in return can have a positive impact on sales, which is really cool”, Sebastian says.
