BREAK-IN PROTECTION 1627

Complete package for RC2 or RC3

PATENT PENDING UNIQUE SOLUTION

A main priority when choosing an exterior door for your home is safety. Unfortunately, combining a door with a latch does not always equal security. Because even if you fit an approved latch in a security-approved door, the combination may not meet the same resistance class.

Break-in Protection 1627 is a robust solution that prevents a door from being broken open. The system is installed in the door and frame, does not affect other hardware choices, meets international standards and allows the door to be certified to SSEN 1627: RC2 and RC3.

Break-in Protection 1627 is a unique security product that is patent pending with the European Patent Office.

BREAK-IN PROTECTION 1627 RC2 AND RC3

Break-in protected doors are classified according to European standard EN 1627. To achieve RC2 classification, a door must withstand a break-in attempt for 15 minutes, including 3 minutes of active attack on each latching side with a heavy screwdriver or similar tool. And to achieve RC3 classification, a door must withstand a break-in attempt for 20 minutes, including 5 minutes of active attack on each latching side with a crowbar or similar tool.

Break-in Protection 1627 is a hardware and hinge package that enables your door to be certified to the standard. If you prefer to use your own hinge, the package can easily be adapted to suit, while still maintaining its security classification.

UNIVERSAL ACCESS SOLUTIONS

Break-in Protection 1627 is a standalone solution that works with most handles and latches. This gives your customers the freedom to choose their preferred hardware. By installing Break-in Protection 1627, you ensure that doors still meet the required security classification.

INSTALLED IN THE EXISTING FRAME

Break-in Protection 1627 is installed in the existing gap between the frame and door, so it does not affect the outer dimensions of the frame.

NO DRAUGHTS

Break-in Protection 1627 does not cause any condensation or cold draughts between the frame and wall.

LOWER COST

Break-in Protection 1627 is easy, quick and inexpensive to install when manufacturing doors and frames.

TESTING OF DOORS AND FRAMES

Industrilas can offer break-in testing in accordance with SS-EN 1627. At our laboratory we can perform tests to RC2 and RC3 classification. The results are documented using data, photos and video and compiled in a test report.
