INDUSTRILAS CERTIFIED ACCORDING TO IATF 16949:2016
Industrilas raises the bar even further
Today Industrilas announces that we have reached yet another milestone in our continuous development. We have been certified according to IATF’s quality management system – IATF 16949:2016. This means we fulfil the all the demands the automotive industry places on its suppliers.
"The demands in IATF’s quality management system are much tougher than for instance an ISO-certification. To reach this point we have developed and improved practically all our processes and departments. A work that not only benefits automotive manufacturers, it has in all fairness made us a better company overall. This has advantages for all our customers and our employees", says Christian Fritz, Quality and Environment Manager at Industrilas.
FULFILLING ALL INDUSTRY STANDARDS
IAFT, International Automotive Task Force, was founded by the automotive manufacturers of the world. The goal of the organization is to help the members any way they can. Among other things, they want procurements to run as smoothly as possible. This is the reason the organization decided on a specific quality management system for suppliers to the industry. Now, when a member orders from a certified company, they know that it is a good partner that delivers the right products at the right time.
"The certification is objective proof that our way of working and our solutions live up to everything the industry wants us to. We are of course very proud of this fact and we look forward to meeting many new companies in the upcoming months", says Christian Fritz.
THE FUTURE LOOKS BRIGHT
Christopher Krutrök, Nordics Branch Manager at BSI Group, who have been responsible for the audit, delivered the signed certificate to Industrilas at the group’s head office in Nässjö last Friday. Among the attendees were the founder Klaus Mölzer and the CEO of Industrilas Group, Fredrik Mölzer.
"At the moment, there are so many great things happening at Industrilas. This IATF-certification will open a lot of new doors for us, we will begin building a new factory next year and the development of new solutions has led us to the fantastic world of mechatronics. In a couple of weeks, we are also launching our new website, which will be the central hub for our extended digital venture", says Fredrik Mölzer.
