MEET MALIN – OUR NEW MARKETING MANAGER

The Marketing Department continues to grow, and we could not be happier with the arrival of Malin Häggblad.

“It has been a busy couple of weeks with lots of new impressions and a lot to take in. Everyone has been very welcoming and that really warms my heart. It is with great excitement that I look forward to learning more about the industry and especially to meet all new colleagues that make Industrilas what it is. Since the Marketing Department is spread out geographically, I want to make everyone feel involved and included, to make sure that we contribute to the organisation’s strategical goals. I am really looking forward to this journey”, Malin says.  

Malin has a vast background in both marketing and communication. For 17 years, she worked in the travel and tourist industry. A majority of these years was spent working with marketing at SkiStar, a tourism, leisure and property company. Most recently, Malin was the Communications Manager for construction and facility branches at Peab, one of the largest construction and civil engineering companies in the Nordics. Now she is venturing into the industrial sector and is excited to get back into marketing.

“I am a curious person and I want to understand and learn about the industry and all our processes. Industrilas biggest strength is that we design, develop and manufacture everything inhouse with a think-outside-the-box culture. When you think about it, it is pretty cool that our latches, handles and hinges make crucial systems and equipment, like HVAC-units better and easier to operate. Quality is the key”, Malin says.

When Malin is not working, she likes to spend her time with friends, preferably outdoors so she can ski, sail and run. One of her biggest milestones was running the New York City Marathon in 2019.

“It was a great experience and I had a lot of fun.  I learned that I am capable of a lot more than I think”, Malin says with a smile.
